Welcome, tinyrobot creators! We have 5 quick tips for you!

In case you couldn’t tell, the emojis above spell out “hello, tinyrobot creators!”. We’re happy to have you here, where we’ll share some tips and tricks for making the best out of your bots on tinyrobot. You might have figured out the jist of how the app works, but here’s a quick run-through:

  1. 1. Bots are digital markers of your favorite places (&& much more!)

Think of a bot as a marker that you use to tell your friends about where to go…or where you want to go. It’s like passing around a (digital) map amongst your friends and pinpointing places, then saying “here’s everything you need to know about this place.” Bots aren’t limited to “actual addresses” you can create a digital marker for literally anywhere in the world. Go ahead, bot murals, favorite surf spots or even bot your favorite dog park where you take your nonexistent dog…we won’t judge!

2. Friends vs. Followers

If you follow a user on tinyrobot, all of their public bots will populate on your Explore Nearby screen. Whenever this user creates a public bot you’ll get a notification in your home screen! You can also tap on their User Profile to see all of their cool public bots!

If this user follows you back, you’ll become…FRIENDS on tinyrobot and you’ll have the opportunity to message each other.

3. Private vs. Public Bots

If you own a private bot, you can share it to any of your friends or it can stay private with you (we know you don’t want to share your stargazing spot you selfish one you)!!! BUT…if you create a public bot, and your friends share it with their friends and followers, and they share it with their friends and followers, then it’s possible everyone in the tinyrobot universe will get a chance to see your cool bot!

4. Adding a Bot to your list

If you like a bot, double tap on the cover photo or tap on the “Add Bot” button so that you’ll always have it in your All Bot List (and well for so much cooler reasons we can’t say yet).

5. We LOVE feedback!!!

We love getting user feedback, so if you have any suggestions on how we can improve the app please email us at support@tinyrobot.com or message us on tinyrobot with our handle @tinyrobot  🙂
